e are back on the mountain this season!!! We were happy to get a call in late November from the Executive Chef at Jackson Gore asking us to be one of the food trucks now serving up great eats in the Jackson Gore Courtyard. It's not Southface but certainly familiar grounds during past Hops in the Hills events. You can walk right up for some BBQ - even pick up a catering. We're there weekends from 10am - 2pm serving up Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Pulled Chicken and our famous BBQ Burrito. We also have hot chocolate, candy, chips and of course some hand and toe warmers :).

We spent 7 straight seasons up on Okemo Mountain with our homemade "BBQ Shack!" Although it came to a close in 2019, we loved serving up fresh smoked barbecue and hot chocolate to our fellow snow bunnies. Whether in the handmade eatery cabin or around the fire pit, skiers and liftees could eat, drink, and warm up with all kinds of BBQ, hot sides, and warm and cozy drinks.

"Ski-Thru" BBQ

Pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket that melts in your mouth, perfectly smoked spare ribs and of course our BBQ Burrito were smoked fresh and served all day to faithful skiers and liftees! Coffee and hot chocolate were also available at our ski-up window right at the South Facing lift. We even had our own trail sign, were on the Trail Map, and featured in the Okemo Magazine.

Without running water, Tump transported usable water AND fresh drinking water, as well as all of the smoking supplies, food, and soft drinks to the cabin each day. Good thing he made friends with the liftees (lift operators) because every day ended with the return of leftover food, dirty dishes, and lots of trash. It wasn't easy getting equipment up and down the mountain every day but it's all worth it though when people like Timothy get to enjoy our labor of love without even taking off your skis! Check out Tim's video below for more details on our Ski-Thru experience.

Hops in the Hills Beer & Wine Fest

Okemo hosts Hops in the Hills every year with live music and food competitions in the great outdoors. We participated every year we were on the mountain, and even won 2nd place 2 years in a row ('15 & '16) with our Kickin' Chicken Wings! The secret is the Kickin' Chicken dust, which we use on all of our chicken dishes! Located on our menu, it's available for purchase! We are also proud to have been a part of the Okemo/Sunapee Summer Picnic for nearly 500 people.

“Fall off the bone goodness, every day of the week! Squeels on Wheels has it.”
