We appeared in a Food Network Magazine article titled "Local Color’" as one of nine recommended places to stop when visiting Vermont during Fall Foliage!
Okemo Mountain is a world-class destination for skiers and snowmobilers, and our "ski-thru" BBQ was just at the base of the lift! Skiiers and snowmobilers loved taking a moment to warm up with our famous BBQ Burrito and on-site firepit.
We were roasting pigs 13 years before we ever entered a competition. We won our first trophy - for ribs - in 2009. Since then, we've won an award in all four categories of Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) Competition events - ribs, chicken, pork and brisket. We've also won lots of awards for things other than BBQ - even skiing!
Longer days, strong sun and - plenty of April showers for May flowers and lots of other great things!
